Northern California Renaissance Faire
Pageantry, Revelry and Romance!
The streets and stages boast music and dance from traditional Morris and English Country, to Celtic and Gypsy Tribal. Swashbuckling swordfighters render women defenseless with their charm and skill.
The original form of Renaissance theatre is played out on the Royal Garden stage in the form of the hilarious Commedia Dell Arte performed by the renowned troupe, Commedia Volante.
There are several ways to get involved at the Northern California Renaissance Faire. Naturally being a ticket bearing patron is the easiest way to participate in the fun. Patrons are welcome and encouraged to dress in Renaissance style costuming to enhance their experience but this is certainly not required.
Aside from being a Patron, the options for participating at the Northern California Renaissance include Entertainment, Marketplace, and Volunteering. Occasionally there are some positions available within Beverage, staff or production.
Visit the Renaissance Faire website for more information.

There's been some speculation on who the Great Pumpkin will be...Is the Great Pumpkin a vegetable superhero? Or could it be museum director Lauren Cohen in disguise? There is one thing we know for sure! The Great Pumpkin, who loves to dance, sample fruits & veggies from our local farms, and sip on cider, will be a huge hit at this year's festival. Come join us for some fun, crafts & games. Free with the price of admission.
